This policy on the processing of personal data ("Personal Data Policy") describes how Libope Jewels collects and processes information about you.
The personal data policy applies to personal data that you submit in connection with a purchase at Libope Jewels, an enquiry regarding a product, or data collected via the Libope Jewels website at www.libope.com

3. What is your data used for?
Libope Jewels processes your personal data for the following purposes:
To be able to deliver the products you have ordered and otherwise fulfil the agreement with you, which includes being able to manage your rights to return and advertise, as well as to be able to contact you if necessary with relevant information about the product you have purchased.
Information about your purchases can also be processed to comply with legal requirements, any legal claims that may arise, bookkeeping and accounting. When purchases are made from libope.com, the IP address is collected with the aim of preventing fraud.
Surveys, statistics and analyses are intended to optimise the user experience and the website’s functionality, as well as allow us to carry out targeted marketing, including retargeting via e.g. Facebook and Google. This processing of information is necessary in order to improve libope.com and show you relevant offers.
Please note that it may be necessary to provide personal data in connection with entering into a contract, or a requirement that must be met in order to enter into a contract. In such situations, I will not be able to offer you the products and services unless you provide the required information.
4. On what basis is personal data processed?
Personal data is always processed in accordance with a particular legal basis. I may process your personal data on the following legal bases:

2. When the processing is necessary to fulfil a contract you have entered, or for the purpose of implementing measures taken at your request prior to the conclusion of a contract. E.g. when you shop on the website.
3. When the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation incumbent on Libope Jewels, e.g. storage of transaction information in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

I may share information about you with:
Partners, e.g. delivery information for carriers in charge of delivering the purchased goods to you. These may also be business partners for the provision of IT services (data processors) who process information on my behalf.
Public authorities, if required by law.
Alert registers that identify risky transactions with the aim of combatting (organised) online fraud.
6. When do I transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA?
Your personal data may be processed by data processors located outside the EU/EEA.
Some of these data processors (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook and Mailchimp) are established in the USA. The necessary guarantees for the transfer of information to the USA are secured through the data processors’ certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, cf. the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, art. 45. Where data processors established outside the EU (other than those mentioned) are used, this will always be done in compliance with valid transfer guarantees.
7. How long do I store your data?
Libope Jewels continuously deletes information about inactive customers, and only keeps your information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was originally collected.
The information I collect in connection with you registering for the newsletter will be deleted when your consent to receiving the newsletter is withdrawn, unless I have another legal basis for processing the information, cf. clause 4.
Transaction information is stored for 5 years, in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
8. What security measures have I taken?
At Libope Jewels, I do my best to take good care of your personal data.
I secure your personal data through both technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your data against unauthorised access, manipulation, destruction/deletion or loss.
