FANTASY LACE

FANTASY LACE is a handcrafted bracelet made with natural lace agate in an exceptionally delicate pastel blue shade. The light, almost powdery blue colour gives the stone a calm and dreamy expression, while the fine, natural patterns within each stone resemble delicate lace woven into every bead. Each stone is unique, which means the pattern varies from bead to bead.

Between each agate stone, I have added a tiny 2 mm faceted rock crystal and tied a knot onto the strong silk cord. I use silk cord instead of wire because it is incredibly strong, while the knots between the stones allow them to move freely without causing unnecessary wear on one another or on the thread.

The special knotting technique between each individual stone makes the bracelet more flexible and durable, but it also means that it takes an incredible amount of time to create. Each and every stone is placed and knotted by hand, one by one.

The result is a feminine and lively bracelet where the delicate, natural patterns of the lace agate take centre stage. A piece that feels both simple and special – and one that will never be exactly the same as another.

The clasp and extension chain are made from gold-plated 925 sterling silver. The bracelet is adjustable and measures 18.5–23 cm.
